You applied for a job and heard nothing. Or they invited you to an interview, said no, or offered you the job. These 8 short messages tell you what to write, and on which day to send it.
It is normal to hear nothing. Many employers cannot reply to everyone. A follow-up message (a short, polite message to the employer after you apply) sometimes helps.
All 8 messages are in one PDF (a document you read or print; it opens on most phones). Working days are Monday to Friday, not public holidays.
The most important ruleFollow up once, then leave it. Message 1 only asks if they got your application. Message 2 is your one follow-up. Still no reply after message 2? Stop, and apply for the next job.
Look here: this is message 1, exactly as it is in the PDF. Notice the words in [square brackets] (these mark example words; type your own words over them before you send).
Subject: Application received? — [Job Title], [Reference Number if any]
Good day [Name / Hiring Team],
I applied for the [Job Title] position on [date] and wanted to confirm my application was received successfully.
I remain very interested in the role and am happy to provide any further information you may need.
Kind regards,
[Your Name] | [Phone] | [Email]
In short, it says: I applied on this date. Did you get my application? I still want this job.
The Subject is the title line of your email. A / sign means choose one: write the person's name, or write Hiring Team.
Is this for me?
- You sent your CV, and nobody has replied.
- You got an interview or a job offer, or the company said no. You do not know what to write.
- You want your message to sound polite and professional.
- You are helping someone in your family apply.
Want help with every step, from your CV to the interview? The complete system has all 16 files, and this PDF is one of them.
What do I need to use it?
Read it on your phone or print it.You do not need a laptop or a printer. The file is about 56 KB, so it uses very little data. Copy a message into your email, or type it. Then change the words in [square brackets] to your own. It does not send messages for you, and it cannot promise a reply.
How do I get it after I pay?You pay once. You do not need an account. Right after you pay, we email you. Find the download link (a link in your email; tap it to save the file to your phone or computer). The link also shows on the screen after you pay.
If a file will not open, you get your money back. Email hello@blessingmdigital.co.za. A person replies in one to two business days.
What do I get?
- Follow-up messages8 short, polite messages, each with the day to send it. 8 pages, about 56 KB. On its cover, the PDF is called Follow-Up Templates. The file name starts with 15.PDF

Other questions
Will the employer reply to me?
Nobody can promise a reply. A short, polite message sometimes helps. Still no reply after message 2? Stop, and apply for the next job.
Will my message sound rude?
Each message is short, polite and professional. The PDF says one message shows you are interested. Three messages can make you look difficult to work with.
Can I send it on WhatsApp?
Only if the employer messaged you there first, or the advert gave a WhatsApp number. Write in full sentences. It is still a work message.
Where and when do I send it?
If you applied by email, reply to that same email. Did you apply on PNet, Careers24 or a company website? Then send it there, if the site lets you send messages. If it does not, do not look for someone's private email address. Send it on a weekday morning, from Tuesday to Thursday if you can. Never send a follow-up the day after you apply.
Do I need an email address?
Yes. We send the download link to your email address. Most of these messages are also sent by email. You can make a free email address on your phone, for example with Gmail.
The PDF talks about a tracker. Do I get it?
No. You can use the messages without it. The tracker is in Track and follow up and in the complete system.
The PDF shows blessingm.co.za. The PDF and this shop are both from Blessing M Digital. This shop is blessingmdigital.co.za.
