My own channel. Writing, editing and finishing. March 2021 to June 2026.
221 videos published to a South African audience. Every decision on the channel was mine, which is why it is the first thing on this page: there is no client whose contribution I would be quietly taking credit for.
Fourteen videos passed 100,000 views and one passed a million. Forty-one thousand hours is close to five years of continuous viewing, and it is the figure that says most about the editing: views measure whether something was opened, hours measure whether the edit held.

Retention editing for video.
Restructured the opening seconds and the pacing around how an audience actually watches, rather than around the order the footage was shot in. The client reported an improvement in video retention afterwards.
No percentage is published here on purpose. The improvement is the client's figure, sitting in the client's analytics. Putting a number on this page that I cannot produce if you ask for it would undo the point of the rest of the page.
Digital product, design and ecommerce
The South African CV and Job-Search System
My own product. Research, writing, document design, store build and launch.
Sixteen files: two A4 CV designs in Word, matching cover letters and reference pages, an application tracker and nine guides running to 54 pages. I researched it, wrote it, designed the documents, built the Shopify store it sells from, and wrote every word of the sales page.
It is the most inspectable thing in this list. You can open the product page and examine the structure, the copy, the structured data and the way it handles price and reviews, because all of it is public.
Those four reviews came from free copies given to a small group of South African job seekers before launch, in exchange for honest feedback. Nothing in them has been edited or removed, including the one that mentions getting it free. That disclosure is on the product page too.
Platform record
On Upwork I hold a 100% Job Success Score across every completed contract, and the Rising Talent badge. Both are Upwork's own designations rather than anything I award myself.
Why there is no image gallery here. Most client work sits on client accounts and on Upwork rather than in a public portfolio, and some of it I am not free to republish. The honest options were a grid of stock mockups, a grid of generated images, or numbers. Stock and generated images would each put a picture on this page claiming work that was not done, which is the one thing a page like this cannot afford. If you want to see something specific to your industry before committing, ask and I will send it directly.
