Home / About
Blessing M Digital is one person in Bloemfontein who builds websites, brands, video and automation for businesses, creators and professionals, and who publishes a small number of digital products of his own.
There is no team, no office and no account manager. When you send an enquiry it reaches me, and if you hire me, the person who wrote the proposal is the person doing the work. That is a real constraint as well as a selling point: I take on a small number of projects at a time, and if something falls outside what I do well I will say so rather than learn on your budget.
How this started
It started with video. I built a channel for a South African audience and ran it myself: writing, editing and finishing, 221 videos between March 2021 and June 2026.
Doing that properly meant learning the adjacent work too. You cannot hold an audience for forty-one thousand hours without understanding structure and pacing, which is editing. You cannot make something worth opening without understanding composition and type, which is design. You cannot sell anything off the back of it without understanding pages, offers and checkouts, which is ecommerce. Those were not separate courses I took. They were the same problem viewed from three sides.
That is how the service list on this site ended up as wide as it is. It is not a menu assembled to catch more searches. It is the set of things one project kept needing.
Client work
I work with clients through Upwork and directly. On Upwork I hold a 100% Job Success Score across every completed contract and the Rising Talent badge, both of which are Upwork's own designations rather than anything I award myself.
Client work includes video retention editing for Mobrage, who reported an improvement in retention after I restructured their openings and pacing. I have not published a percentage for that, because the number lives in their analytics and is not mine to quote.
The full record, with the sources attached, is on the work page.
The products
Alongside client work I build and sell my own digital products. The first is the South African CV and Job-Search System: sixteen files for people applying for jobs here, researched, written, designed and launched by me on this store.
That product is also the most complete thing I can show you, because all of it is public. If you are deciding whether to hire me for ecommerce or design work, go and pull it apart.
How I work, and what I will not claim
- Only claims that can be checkedEvery number on this site has a document behind it, and I will show you the document. Where I do not have a figure I can produce on request, the page says so instead of estimating one.
- No invented proofNo stock photographs presented as client work, no generated images standing in for projects, no fake client logos, no awards, no certifications and no “trusted by” strip. If it is not on this site, it is because it does not exist yet.
- Primary sources over summariesPlatform documentation, published research and your own data, rather than marketing blogs quoting each other. The CV product originally used the widely repeated claim that most CVs are rejected by software before a person sees them. It traces back to a sales pitch by a company that no longer exists, so it came off the page even though it sold better.
- Scope in writing before work startsWhat is included, what it costs, how many revisions. Nobody should be guessing what they agreed to.
- Reviews shown as they were writtenThe first reviews on the product page came from people given a free copy in exchange for honest feedback, and that is stated next to them. Nothing has been edited, reworded or removed, including a review that mentions getting it free.
Where I am
Bloemfontein, in the Free State. The work is done remotely, for clients anywhere in South Africa and outside it. For anything needing footage of a real place, such as a property walkthrough, you supply the footage or we arrange filming; I will not generate rooms that do not exist.
Your privacy
The CV templates leave out your ID number, date of birth and photograph on purpose. You are not required to provide them at application stage, applicant tracking systems routinely ignore them, and putting your ID number on a document that circulates to dozens of employers is an avoidable risk. Your CV never comes near this business: you download the files and work on them on your own computer. How the store handles your details is covered in the privacy policy.
